Socket cap

Socket caps have a small cylindrical head with tall vertical sides. Allen (hex socket) drive is a six-sided recess for use with an allen wrench (hex key).

• Stainless steel 18-8

• Stainless steel 18-8 black oxide finish

  The most common stainless steel for general hardware use. Black finish.

• Stainless steel 316

  A highly corrosion resistant grade of stainless steel. Ideal in salt water and chlorine environments. More expensive than 18-8.

• Zinc plated alloy steel

  A very high strength heat treated alloy steel. Zinc plated for moderate corrosion resistance.

• Alloy steel black oxide finish

  Black oil (plain) finish. A very high strength heat treated alloy steel.
